A Brief History
The Bronxville Montessori School was established in 1976 and has been housed at the West Center Congregational Church since it's inception.We are located four blocks West of Lawrence Hospital.We've developed varied programs for children as young as 18 months through their Kindergarten year (5 to 6 years old) using the Montessori approach, developed originally by Dr. Maria Montessori, to nurture each child’s interests, abilities and talents.
Learning is broken into small, easily digestible pieces so that each child can learn at her/his own pace and feel successful and smart. Our partnership with parents helps each student to build self-confidence as well as a life long love of learning.
